Shrebhavi 2:1 Epoxy Resin (1.5kg) is a two-part, crystal-clear casting and coating resin designed for resin artists, hobbyists, and small craft businesses across India. Mixed at a 2:1 ratio by volume (resin to hardener), it self-levels smoothly and cures to a hard, glossy finish — ideal for everything from jewellery and coasters to trays, wall art, and tabletop pours.
This 1.5kg kit gives you a generous working quantity without wastage, making it a practical choice for both weekend projects and regular production runs. The low-viscosity formula allows pigments, alcohol inks, and dried botanicals to blend and suspend evenly, so your colours stay true and your inclusions sit exactly where you place them.
- 2:1 mix ratio (by volume): Simple to measure accurately with cups or a digital scale — reduces mixing errors and wasted material.
- Crystal-clear cure: Cures to a water-white, high-gloss finish with minimal yellowing, keeping artwork vibrant over time.
- Low viscosity: Flows easily into molds, around inclusions, and across flat surfaces without trapping air bubbles.
- Compatible with most pigments: Works well with resin pigment pastes, mica powders, alcohol inks, and dried flowers or foils.
- 1.5kg working quantity: Enough resin for multiple coasters, a medium tray pour, or several jewellery batches in a single session.
- Hard, durable finish: Cures to a scratch-resistant surface suitable for functional items like coasters, serving trays, and tabletops.
- Suitable for beginners and regulars alike: Longer pot time gives you enough working window to manipulate designs before the resin begins to set.
What's Included
1 x Resin Part A (approx. 1kg) and 1 x Hardener Part B (approx. 0.5kg) — combined net weight 1.5kg. Mix at 2 parts resin to 1 part hardener by volume before use.
How to Use
Measure resin and hardener in a 2:1 ratio by volume using calibrated mixing cups. Combine in a clean container and stir slowly for 3–4 minutes, scraping the sides and base of the cup. Pour into your mold or onto your surface, use a heat gun or torch briefly to pop surface bubbles, and leave to cure on a level surface. Full cure typically takes 24–72 hours depending on ambient temperature. Work in a warm, dust-free space for best results.
Safety Tips
Always wear nitrile gloves and work in a well-ventilated area. Avoid skin and eye contact — wash immediately with soap and water if contact occurs. Keep away from children. Uncured resin is a skin sensitiser; do not eat, drink, or touch your face while working. Dispose of cured scraps as solid waste; never pour liquid resin down the drain.
